In loving
memory of those from our town who gave their all,
this Virtual Memorial website has been created by Marilyn
(Maggie) Stephenson-Knight and Simon John Chambers. It is owned by
Marilyn Stephenson-Knight. The Dover War Memorial Project is,
and always has been, run entirely by volunteers, and the essential
costs of the Dover War
Memorial Project are funded through voluntary
donations. The
costs of the website are funded personally by Maggie.
The information contained in this Virtual
Memorial is displayed in good faith, and is collated from a
number of different sources, including the records of private
individuals and from the findings of original research
conducted by Maggie, Simon, and many kind volunteers. We make no warranty as to
accuracy (though we have been as accurate as we can!) and, while
this site is intended for private educational purposes only,
nevertheless state that we accept no responsibility or liability for any loss
or damage that may arise from use of the information herein. As
is common in all research practice, readers are advised to check
for themselves the accuracy of any information.
If any errors or mistakes are found, then we
most heartily apologise and will endeavour to
correct them as soon as we are informed. We have acknowledged
copyright and sources; do
contact us if there is a query.
Links to other sites are provided merely as a
courtesy for information; we do not endorse or recommend in any
way the contents of third party websites, nor do links from our
website imply that we are in any way associated with those sites
or their owners. The use of quotes from third party sources does
not mean we endorse the opinions and information therein nor
that we claim they are accurate; we cannot accept any
responsibility for errors, or omissions.
