Dover Cemeteries

THOMAS LONGLEY

He was renowned as the heaviest man in Dover. Keeper of The Star Inn, he weighed some forty stone. The inscription on his gravestone reads:

Thomas Longley.
Who fell asleep February 22nd 1904 aged 56 years.
"Thy will be done"

Also Helen wife of the above
Who passed away June 21st 1911
Aged 64 years.
At Rest.
