Lloyd, T. E.   
Thomas Edward Lloyd, 7254, was a Drummer (Driver) in the Lancashire Fusiliers 2nd battalion. He enlisted in Bristol and was 33 when he was killed in action on 26 August 1914.  He is buried at Essnes Communal Cemetery, France. Grave I

Born in Newport, Monmouthshire, he was the son of Tom and Lavinia Lloyd and the "dear husband" of Mary Lloyd from 100 Clarendon Place, Dover. He left also a son and a daughter

Just a memory, fond and true,
From the one who thought the world of you;
You can lie with me in memory still,
Not just today, but always will (His wife August 1942 CQMS in Quetta)
