The list is now contained in the St Mary's Book of Remembrance. The memorial is in St Mary's church and an image may be seen on this page. The memorial was unveiled on 12 June 1949 by Senior Cinque Ports Pilot Captain D Magub and dedicated by the Bishop of Dover, the Rt Rev A C W Rose. He stated that there had now been two wars for freedom, and that the men of whom the congregaton were especially thinking that day had fought and died for those who remained to gain the glorious freedom of being easily able to choose what he knew in his heart to be Gods' will, and to choose without any whip behind the highest and best way of life.
